Accounts Assistant Manager / Manager
(HQ @ Butterworth)

Job responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining client relationships.
  • Attend to clients’ questions and issues promptly.
  • Analysing financial data to provide insights and recommendations to clients.
  • Ensuring the accuracy, timeliness and compliance of workpapers, financial reports and other tasks
  • Review on provision on income tax, SST submission and other applicable taxes.
  • Provide coaching to accounts staff.
  • Assist clients in compliance related matters.
  • Keeping abreast of relevant regulatory changes and accounting standards to offer up-to-date advice.
  • Liaise closely with auditors and tax agents
  • Utilize accounting software for data management, analysis and reporting.
  • Involve in client presentations and proposal submissions.
  • Support in the business development by identifying new service opportunities for clients.
  • Working collaboratively with other departments and top management.
  • Ad-hoc tasks assigned by superior.

Requirement:

  • Possesses a degree in accounting and finance or a professional certification like ACCA or equivalent.
  • Has at least 4 years of relevant working experience in accounting and tax.
  • Skilled in using accounting software, including Master, Autocount, SQL
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with people.
  • Proficient in planning, organizing, and prioritizing to ensure timely completion and delivery of work.
  • Good team player who works collaboratively within and across teams.
  • Technical knowledge in accounting standards and always updated with relevant regulations.
  • Detailed oriented.
  • Ability to manage stress especially on managing deadlines, workload, client expectations and others.
  • Willing to work in services provider firm
  • Having a full set of account knowledge is an advantage

Accounts Assistant / Executive

Job responsibilities:

  • Maintains accounting records by making copies; filing documents.
  • Reconciles bank statements by comparing statements with general ledger.
  • Maintains accounting databases by entering data into the computer; processing backups.
  • Verifies financial reports by running performance analysis software program.
  • Determines value of depreciable assets.
  • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • To handle full set of accounts including SST reporting & SST return
  • Coordinate yearly accounts closing including financial statements preparation, supporting schedules, tax computations and related matters
  • Issue invoices and collect payment
  • Attend to tax & audit queries
  • Liaise with client on matters relating to accounting & SST
  • Perform ad hoc tasks assigned by superiors from time to time.

 

 

 

 

 

Requirement:

  • Candidates must possess at least SPM / STPM / LCCI / Diploma / Degree in Accounting / Finance with or without experience.
  • Those candidates with experience will be an added advantage.

Secretarial Executive/Secretarial Assistant

Job responsibilities:

  • Ensure the company is compliant with laws and regulations, i.e. Companies Act 2016
  • Verify the company info, the identity of directors and shareholders and lodge the declaration of beneficial ownership and Annual Return
  • Preparation of Boards and Members’ Resolutions and other corporate secretarial documents
  • Prepare and ensure proper and timely filling of the statutory documents to the Companies Commission of CCM
  • Updating the Company’s Statutory Books and maintaining paperwork
  • Maintains Secretarial records by making copies; filing documents.
  • Maintains Secretarial databases by entering data into the computer; processing backups.

Requirement:

Tax Junior / Senior
(HQ @ Butterworth)

Job responsibilities:

  • Job responsibilities will encompass but not limited to preparation of personal and corporate tax computations, tax returns, tax estimate forms etc. and ensure timely submission to the tax authorities
  • To liaise internally with managers and supervisors as and when necessary to report on work status, progress and critical issues
  • To liaise externally with taxpayers and tax authorities to resolve tax issues, tax administrative works, tax appeals etc.

 

 

 

 

Requirement :

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree or currently pursuing Professional Qualification ACCA or equivalent with minimum 2 years working experience preferably in a professional services firm or related fields
  • Good proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft office Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Good degree of computer literacy (knowledge of Easy Tax will be an added advantage)
  • Possess good organizational skills and able to prioritize work to meet tight deadlines
  • Possess good interpersonal skills and willing to share responsibilities as a team
